I SOLD my house!!

I just got a phone call from the title company and they informed me that the buyers of my house would like to close tomorrow!!  I can honestly say that I was caught off guard since I have not talked with either of them for several weeks.  Woulda been nice to know before so I could plan my move better.  Oh well....................
I AM MOVING!!!! 
I am so incredibly excited that the Jones wanted to buy my house.  I am so excited to be a non-home owner.  Seems crazy since everyone wants to own.  Not me.  I cannot wait to be done.  It is such a relief!!

Cards With The Tards

My friends Sharon, Joan, Christy and I get together once a month for a delicious dinner and card night.  Tonight we had Italian night.  Sharon made a delicious manicotti. Joan made some delicious garlic tomato toast and Christy brought a caesar salad.  I made BTS cake for dessert.  We then play our favorite card game ever......Hand and Foot.

Sharon has the cutest little baby named Atlas.  Jack and Atlas have a rocky relationship.  Jack out-weigh's him by 100 pounds and so there may be a little fear on the part of Atlas, but they end up loving being together.

Girl Rides Horse

While I was babysitting my cute niece Hallie Kate, I found that she absolutely loves Jack.  She could not keep her eyes off him.  So we decided to let her sit on him and she thought that was hilarious.

I know this looks like Jack is about to attack, but really he was just sneezing.  We all thought Hallie might have an allergy to Jack, but it looks like just the opposite is true.

Happy Birthday Imo

Happy birthday Imogene!  Today I took one of my favorite nurses out for her birthday.  She turned 58.  We had yummy breakfast for lunch at Ruth's diner up Emigration canyon.  It was a gorgeous day and we had a fantastic time.

So Cupcake was So average. Oh well.

We both had a complete blast!  Who cares if the cupcakes were totally average.  The company was fabulous!  Thanks Imo for a great day.

Girl Meets Dog

I thought it was about time that Jack and Hallie met.  Hallie was very intrigued with the dog, and absolutely could not keep her eyes off of him. 

Jack, of coarse was just as intrigued by Hallie and tried desperately to get a taste of her.  We however prevented any dog lickage.

They finally were content to just sit and stare at each other. It was a success!  Now maybe the parentals will let Hallie come and play more often. 

Chinese Torture

They claim that it is called Jacobs Ladder and that it is a great workout tool.  But, I think they are CRAZY!  I believe it is a form of Chinese torture.  Honestly, the US government would just have to stick someone on one of these and they will spill their guts.  Trust me. 

So basically, you belt yourself in and once you start climbing, the machine starts to move.  The higher you climb, the faster it moves.  I am not going to lie, it is really hard!  For punishment, they tell us that we will have to do 1000 steps.  I have never been punished that way, and honestly don't think that I could actually do the 1000 steps if I had to.  It is sooooooo hard.

Snowshoe run at Soldier Hollow

My friend Christy and I did a snowshoe run at Soldier Hollow in Midway.  It was a beautiful day.  The weather was perfect and the course was really great.  We had such a great time. 

I finished in 12th place.  I had a great time and will have to plan on doing this again next year.

Merry Christmas Everyone!  Christmas was so much fun this year!  It is always so nice to spend the holidays with family.  I absolutely love the tradition of having sticky buns and souffle for breakfast.  They were delicious!  After breakfast I went to Reid and Val's to see their kids.  I loved these pics of Val and Jack. I think it is funny to see the look on Jack's face as he is trying to get some caramel popcorn from her.
