Journey of 240 miles.....

I decided to take a completely random road trip with Jack. I set off from Eden with absolutely no plan in mind. I headed around Pine View and up as if I was going to Monte Cristo. My first stop was at Causey Dam. It was an absolutely beautiful day up there. Jack loved the water.

But not the geese. You can see him trying to get away from them here. What kind of bird dog are you??From Causey, we headed East on the 39 and ended up in Randolph. There is absolutely nothing in Randolph......except for a sign that says Bear Lake 30 miles. Off to Bear Lake we go.
We found a nice little beach and I let Jack swim for a while and I just waded my feet. Man bear lake is COLD!
No trip to Bear Lake would be complete without stopping for a Raspberry Shake. I found a little place in Raspberry square and got a delicious shake. Jack was more than happy to share it with me. I next headed through Logan canyon to go back home when I decided to make one more detour. From Logan canyon we turned onto this little dirt road that took us into the middle of nowhere. It literally took us into Idaho. But, once there, I realized it was completely worth it. We found the most beautiful fields of wildflowers ever. I could not resist taking literally hundreds of photos. These are some of my favorites.

What a fun idea. I love the flower pictures. I am sure you and Jack had a great time.

You are such a free spirit. Just get in the car and go whenever you want! Love it, I wish I could do that sometimes, alone!
