heading to miami today for the start of a fantastic vacation to cuba. i'm so excited for this adventure
for dinner we searched yelp and found Safron Mediterranean Grill in south beach had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. it's hard to imagine that every single person eating here could give it 5 stars but we thought we would give it a try. we show up and it is a dive. there was no one in the restaurant. i was a little anxious that we were wasting our time. boy was i wrong!! it was SPECTACULAR!! i ordered some tabouli for my appetizer which was simply delicious. next i got my main dish: a lamb gyro and a mediterranean salad with some saffron rice. it also came with some pita bread and tzatziki. YUM! i honestly have not had better mediterranean food in greece or turkey. so delicious! for dessert, our waitress talked us into eating some baklava, OMG. the best i have ever tasted! this restaurant deserves every 5 star rating it deserves. i am coming back to miami for this place alone!!
after dinner we took a dark walk along the beach. it was a gorgeous night and it was so much fun
