Life in AZ

So, I decided to take another travel assignment. I just spent the last two days driving down to Phoenix. It's so funny, from the time we left Las Vegas, it has been absolutely pouring rain. I thought I was moving to AZ to get away from the bad weather and cold. I am clearly wrong.
My friend Jessie decided to join me on this travel assignment. We got to our apartment and got all checked in and we had no power. Pretty hard to move in when night is fast approaching with no power. We finally got all of that straightened out and by 7pm we had lights.
As you can tell, our complex is pretty decent. It is close to Tempe Town Lakes which is a cool man made lake with running trails the entire way around. It is also very close to Scottsdale, so I plan on doing a lot of shopping there.
We have a great view off of our balcony (the motel 6 does mar the view at times). We can see the amazing desert sunsets every night. I'll bet come summer, it won't be that great having the sun blasting in our apt every night, but for now we will absolutely love it! As you can tell, even Jackie Wackie loves it.
The thing I love about being a traveling nurse, is that everything is a total adventure. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love anything spontaneous, fun, and adventurous! It is so exhilirating to move to a new place and meet new friends and see how it is done there. One thing I have learned, is that this country is full of wonderful people, and I have friends all over the place. It has been a great experience for me.
